To whom it may concern,
In what seems to be a large misunderstanding on behalf of the previous SU Officers 2009-2010, a blog post relating to job opportunities in UCC’s H&S Office was uploaded to the UCCSU blog and promoted via the allstudents email.
I am disappointed to inform you that this is not the case, and would ask students to refrain from contacting the H&S Office on this issue as their normal work-practices are being adversely affected. We would like to thank them for their patience and good nature in dealing with this issue.
As incoming President, may I extend my apologies to the students who contacted UCC’s Health & Safety Offices seeking information on these job opportunities, and assure you that no malice or intention to cause distress was meant in its distribution. The Union, as ever, has at its core the aim of benefiting students of UCC and that is something the incoming Union 2010-2011 hold paramount.
